OVERVIEW

4 the Fallen is a 100% volunteer, direct impact non-profit organization in support of our country’s heroes. Given a 501(c) (3) designation by the IRS in September 2015, the organization's goal is to create funds necessary to operate critical programs and services. The High Impact Prosthetic, Certified Service Dogs, and Adaptive Sports programs were established to ensure that America's Heroes receive services and access at no cost to them. 4 the Fallen is committed to growing these programs which directly impact the lives of injured American Heroes who volunteered to serve our great nation.

HISTORY

4 the Fallen was created in 2011 as a 501(c) (19) veteran-based organization by Armed Forces veterans Jaime Fregozo (US Army SFC) and Gregorio Zayas (US Army Major) to raise awareness for fallen and injured heroes throughout the country. By way of a softball team made up of service members and descendants of military veterans, the organization conducted Flag Ceremonies at softball tournaments and other sporting events throughout the country and publicly recognized injured and killed in action heroes.

It was while operating 4 The Fallen that Fregozo and Zayas saw the tremendous needs of injured heroes and their families and elected to grow the organization by establishing the three service programs. In September 2016, Adam Rummel joined the organization to help promote and grow the service programs. Rummel helped establish golf events that have been used in California, South Carolina, Washington State, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. These events were established to raise funds and 100% of the proceeds go to the organization's programs. The events provide the ability to partner with companies and organizations to continue to support America's Heroes.
