Whistleblower Policy

 

1. Purpose: 

The purpose of this Whistleblower Policy is to encourage and enable directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders of 4 The Fallen to report any suspected violations of law, unethical conduct, or organizational policies without fear of retaliation. 

 

2. Scope: 

This policy applies to all individuals affiliated with 4 The Fallen, including directors, officers, volunteers, contractors, and vendors. 

 

3. Definition of Whistleblower: 

A whistleblower is any individual who, in good faith, reports concerns, complaints, or information about suspected illegal activities, unethical conduct, or violations of organizational policies within 4 The Fallen. 

 

4. Reporting Procedures: 

• Individuals who wish to report a concern or complaint under this policy may do so by following the designated reporting procedures established by 4 The Fallen. 

• Reports may be made verbally or in writing and should include as much detail as possible about the alleged violation or concern. 

 

5. Protection Against Retaliation: 

• 4 The Fallen prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern or complaint under this policy. 

• Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of affiliation with 4 The Fallen. 

 

6. Confidentiality: 

• All reports made under this policy shall be treated with confidentiality to the fullest extent possible, consistent with the need to conduct a thorough and fair investigation. 

• Confidentiality shall be maintained throughout the investigation process, and information related to the report shall be disclosed only on a need-to-know basis. 

 

7. Investigation and Resolution: 

• Reports made under this policy shall be promptly and impartially investigated by designated individuals or committees within 4 The Fallen. 

• Upon completion of the investigation, appropriate remedial action shall be taken to address any confirmed violations of law, unethical conduct, or organizational policies. 

 

8. Non-Retaliation Obligation: 

• All directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and affiliated individuals of 4 The Fallen have a duty to refrain from engaging in any form of retaliation against whistleblowers. 

• Failure to comply with this obligation may result in disciplinary action in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. 

 

9. Training and Awareness: 

• 4 The Fallen shall provide training and education to its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders regarding the Whistleblower Policy and the importance of reporting concerns or complaints in good faith. 

 

10. Review and Update: 

• This Whistleblower Policy shall be reviewed periodically by the Board of Directors to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. 

• Any necessary revisions shall be made accordingly to address changing legal requirements or organizational needs. 

 

By adopting and adhering to this Whistleblower Policy, 4 The Fallen reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability, where individuals feel empowered to raise concerns without fear of reprisal.
